I write features and TV with my writing partner Andrew Levine.
Here’s a little about us:
Andrew Levine and Benj Thall have written a number of family-oriented features together including a project set up at Nat Geo Kids and a reboot of Homeward Bound. White Elephant, included, is our family/horror screenplay that was a top 5 finalist in the 2019 Final Draft Big Break contest. Otter Space, our latest, is an animated family film is also a top 5 finalist in the Final Draft Big Break Awards. Both Andrew and Benj attended USC film school. Andrew graduating from filmic writing and Benj from production.
Benj began his career as child actor, most notably staring in Homeward Bound: The incredible Journey for Disney. After graduating he carved out a successful career as an award winning trailer editor and director. Honing his story sensibilities crafting trailers for films and franchises such as Harry Potter, Tron, Transformers, Watchmen, and most recently 6Underground and The Report. As a director Benj has created commercials, music videos, two seasons of a show for NatGeo Kids and his award winning film Penny.
Andrew has authored over 20 screenplays and has written/directed commercials for a number of nationally branded products. For over two decades, he has been an integral part of the growth of the Young Storytellers Foundation, by leading schools and workshops in Los Angeles.
